Crews

  • Probably the biggest feature of this update and for sure one of the most awaited features
  • For now crews can only be made between players, NPC allies are planned for a future update!
  • Whoever starts the crew becomes its Captain and can set the name and Jolly Roger
  • Starting a crew requires one player to pour Sake in the cups of other players, the one who pours the sake becomes the captain while all the other ones become members of said crew.
  • Crew mates cannot hurt each other by default, can be turned off in the config
  • New config option to determine if players need a minimum bounty before starting a crew (the bounty won’t get reduced when starting the crew it is just for checking)

Jolly Roger

  • A crew’s captain can set its jolly roger from a collection of over 60 icons (and growing)
  • This Jolly Roger will be used in a few places for their crew members (like the wanted posters, and soon:tm: flags)



## Abilities - A LOT OF BALANCING WAS DONE HERE, TOO MANY TO LIST ! The following changes are the more important / heavy ones.


- Remade the entire ability system, should perform better now and with no random crashes. A lot of technical stuff goes here with more ability archtypes and customization options for them. - A lot of abilities got buffed / nerfed accordingly, these changes come in the form of cooldown, damage, explosion, potion effect duration, max time being active etc. I won't be able to list every small detail, so for the most requested buffs / nerfs, be sure they happened. For everything else I doubt most people will notice these changes anyway.

Gura Gura no Mi

  • Removed Kabutowari, it was too similar with Gekishin in it’s ideal state.
  • Tenchi Meido ability added instead, chargeable ability, when the charging is done all the nearby enemies are thrown into the air.

Doa Doa no Mi

  • Improved the already existing abilities to be more reliable
  • Kaiten Door added, spins the head of the punched target

Suna Suna no Mi

  • Updated Desert Spada to be more in theme with its canon appearances
  • Updated various of its particle effects

Nikyu Nikyu no Mi

  • Updated Ursus Shock:
    • It is a cancelable now (like Volt Vari) meaning at any time during the charging process you can cancel it and the projectile will be shot in it’s incomplete state.
    • A visible paw-shaped entity will not be displayed above the player’s head, it grows in accordance with the charging %.
    • The player model will raise its right hand while the charging happens, as a similar visual eye-candy the paw-shaped entity will pulse while it’s charging.

Mera Mera no Mi

  • New Ability: Heat Dash, really just a dash which burns entities it touches to shut up people asking for mera to be able to fly.
  • New Ability: Kyokaen, creates a wall of fire in front on the user and protects them, while its good it has a low duration and higher cooldown than other similar abilities

Horo Horo no Mi

  • Yutai Ridatsu, allows the user to create a ghost form of themselves and fly around, the body is still vulnerable to damage and cannot be moved. While in this form the user can go through blocks but it cannot interact with or hit anything. Can only be used in survival mode!

Yomi Yomi no Mi

  • Yomi no Reiki, works like Yutai Ridatsu but can be used for a lot longer and can go further away from the body. Can only be used in survival mode!

Kilo Kilo no Mi

  • Reworked a bit this fruit, now it only has 2 abilities.
  • 1 Kilo Press, works like the old Weightless making the user light as a feather
  • 10,000 Kilo Press, which works like the old Kilo Press, makes the user heavy, when they hit the ground nearby enemies will be hurt based on how much the user has fallen.
  • The umbrella also works a bit better now and won’t make the player go in only 8 directions anymore.

Ushi Ushi no Mi: Model Bison

  • Improved animations, no more weirdly rotated or detached head in multiplayer.
  • Slight buffs to both of its abilities

Mogu Mogu no Mi

  • Improved animations, no more weirdly rotated or detached head in multiplayer.
  • Because of the these new improvements it can now go inside tunnels with a height of 1.5 blocks while sneaking.

Ushi Ushi no Mi: Model Giraffe

  • Improved animations, no more weirdly rotated or detached head in multiplayer.
  • While in Walk Point players can jump up to 3 blocks

Zou Zou no Mi

  • Improved animations, no more weirdly rotated or detached head in multiplayer.

Tori Tori no Mi: Model Phoenix

  • Improved animations, no more weirdly rotated or detached head in multiplayer.
  • Buffed a bit the healing abilities and the Tensei no Soen abilities.

Kage Kage no Mi

  • Improved the Doppelman’s AI a bit
  • Shadows can be eaten to gain small strength and resistance buffs if the player already has their shadow, otherwise it will just restore the shadow.

Bane Bane no Mi

  • Spring Hopper can be activated while in mid air but will only trigger the jump when the player lands

Bomu Bomu no Mi

  • Zenshin Kibaku, a chargeable, larger and more powerful version of Kick Bomb
  • Explosive Punch, punched enemies will explode
  • Breeze Breath Bomb, allows the user to use their fruit in combination with a gun and shoot explosive projectiles

Doru Doru no Mi

  • Doru Doru Arts: Pickaxe, similar to Doru Doru Arts: Ken but creates a powerful pickaxe instead
  • Doru Doru Ball, surrounds the user in a clay ball for increased defensive capabilities
  • Doru Doru no Yakata, creates a bunch of clay clones
  • If the user holds a Color Palette in their inventory the grey-ish color of the clay will be replace with randomized colors and the clay clones will use the user’s skin instead

Rokushiki

  • Geppo now has 5 uses before going into a 20s cooldown; The jumps should also be more accurate now instead of a fixed grid.
  • Rankyaku will now pass through blocks and entities.
  • Soru, Tekkai and Kami-E will have a cooldown based on how much time the ability was active, all 3 abilities also have a threshold of usage, if reached the ability will enter in a cooldown state.
  • Soru now has Step Assist of 1 block.

Haki

  • Haoshoku Haki got heavy changes, can now put weak enemies in an unconscious state and has some new cool particle effects
  • Kenbunshoku Aura will now highlight all nearby entities in color specific codes
  • Mastering all types of haki will increase their potency a bit, ex: More range for Aura, more damage for Hardening and so on

Bounties & Wanted Posters

  • Wanted Posters will now show the player’s crew Jolly Roger
  • Bounty Hunters can claim the bounty on somebody’s head if they kill the target while they have their bounty poster in the inventory
  • “Expired” bounty posters will be marked with a red X, expired in this case means the bounty is no longer valid or somebody already claimed it, expired bounty posters do not go away on their own.

Items & Blocks

Bubbly Coral

  • New item that will allow players to breath and move underwater even as Devil Fruit users
  • Has 5 uses after which it will break
  • Can be found in Ocean Temples (rare) and its also a super rare drop from coral blocks

Vivre Cards

  • The tooltips will no longer show its owner’s coordinates
  • Vivre Cards can now be dropped, while on ground it will slowly move towards it’s owner

Sake Bottle & Cup

  • The Sake Bottle can be crafted and bought now
  • Can stack the Drunk effect up to level 5 based on how many bottles the user drank
  • At level 3 and level 5 nausea will begin
  • While the user has this drunk effect they will receive 0 damage, HOWEVER, any damage received while in this state will be applied all in 1 hit after the effect goes away
  • Players can pour sake in other people’s cups to drink or start a crew
  • Cups can be crafted but sake bottles can only be bought or found

Guns

  • Updated the guns/bows/slingshots logic to have different cooldowns for shooting and reloading, damage will differ based on the item used as well as bullet used now, guns will automatically use bullet types based on which one is closer to the item (no more mode switching)
  • New Gun: Senriku, higher damage and bullet speed but higher shooting and reloading cooldowns as well

Sniper Goggles

  • Head Equipment for Snipers
  • Will unlock a new ability called “Zoom” which allows the user to zoom in

Quests / Trials

  • Finally a well deserved update for this, the current quests were all removed and replaced with Trials which will be used from now on to gain fighting style abilities, all of the current fighting styles have a set of trials
  • Haki trials were also added however these will not reward players with haki, they’re there to provide some basic guidance and give me a reason to shut up people asking how to get haki.

Entities

  • Improved the animal entities (Kung Fu Dungong, Yagara Bull etc) with new AIs and stats
  • Adjusted the belly/doriki drops from most entities

Traders

  • New entity that comes in two variants: Pirate and Marine
    • Pirate Traders won’t trade and with Marines and vice versa
  • These traders come packed with mod and vanilla items since people asked for a way to spend belly and to obtain certain obtainable items, as such you can find items like Bullets, Flintlocks, Cola, Dials, Sea King Meat and Swords at these traders. Of course all for a fair price.
  • Since they’re using Loot Table json files for their item pools ( same format that vanilla minecraft uses) they can be edited however the player / server owner wants.
  • They spawn randomly trough the world and around the players (think Wandering Trader from vanilla)

Bow Master

  • This is a new special mob that will teach Snipers their abilities
  • Spawns through the world, most commonly in Forest-like biomes.

UI

  • Made cooldown / disabled / charging or continuous abilities easier to identify with color improvements and numbers for how much time is left of its cooldown or until the charging is complete as well as an animation for when the ability can be used.
  • New animations for text and other elements, can be disabled using the config

Config

  • Second config file named “mineminenomi-client.toml”, this one is client sided meaning the changes will persist no matter the server you’re joining, the options are visual only however!
    • New config option for the cooldown visuals
    • New config option to disable screen and text animations
  • Changed a few of the old config options, however they all have comments so the change won’t be too hard to get used to
  • Updated “One Fruit per World” option

Structures

  • Mostly visual improvements for all of them, (lanterns instead of torches, different blocks used etc)
  • Big loot changes for all of them, find the loot tables in the guide!
  • Number of enemies per structure were also adjusted, in most cases this means more grunts.

Others

  • /ability command was added, full syntax is: /ability <give/remove> <ability> <targets>

  • /hakiexp command was added to more easily unlock haki abilities in creative

  • Because of how 1.14.4 works all of the old and new commands will have recommendations now, so hopefully no more “how does x command works”

  • Updated some of the old commands like /abilityprotection to be more customizable

  • Reworked the “One Fruit per World” systems entirely with new functionalities split into 3 logic groups

    • None: infinite amount of the same fruit can exist
    • Simple: only one type of fruit exists
    • Extended: Simple logic + extra checks to make sure the players cannot store / hoard / block devil fruits
    • Cheating the Extended rules might result in the Devil Fruit being removed and put back into circulation in extreme cases! This is intended and won’t change.
  • The Devil Fruit reincarnation system was updated and will now account for dropped apples, apples in player and villager inventories and chests

  • A 3D items resource pack was made and will be released at the same time, it doesn’t cover all the items so if you want your items to be features in it @ us on discord

Known Bugs

  • The entity’s hitbox gets super small after being hit by Haoshoku Haki, this is simply how vanilla minecraft handles entities that are sleeping
  • Trainers will output 2 messages when no trial are available
  • When taking potions out of the brewing stand using shift key they will not correctly register for any ongoing quests
